ABOUT ME
My name is Marisa and I have been working at UCIty as the Children’s Director for about a month now. I have a deep love for community, family, and sharing the love of Christ with others. I am married to the most amazing man Riley Stanton. I am a twin and one of 7 children. I am an aunt to 2 nieces and a nephew! Being an Aunt has been one of the greatest joys and blessings in my life. I value prayer, communication, teamwork, and kindness. I have worked intermittently in children’s ministry since I was a teenager. I was a nanny and have been CPR certified. I love coffee, hiking, and worship music. I also have a passion for baking.
I think the family as the Bible describes needs the support of the church now more than ever. I know how valuable a safe place at church can be. As a child I was greatly blessed by the support and the care that I was given at church. I am passionate about leading our children to love Christ. It is an honor to guide them and help them develop a strong foundation for Christ that can give them strength and peace through the storms of life. I cherish community and I look forward to getting to know each one of you.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6 ESV
